Do you pick up from home?
Yes. Pickup and drop-off are included within the service area, at no extra cost. Igor collects you where you live and drops you back afterwards.
Which towns do you cover?
Keswick, Sutton, Pefferlaw, Newmarket, Uxbridge, Stouffville and Beaverton. Just outside those towns? Call and ask - it's often fine. More about the service areas.
Can I use Igor's car for the road test?
Yes, with several of the lesson packages. Where a package includes the road test, that covers use of the instructor's dual-control vehicle, so you test in the car you learned in. DriveTest's own road test fee is paid separately to DriveTest.
Where is the road test?
Road tests are booked at Newmarket DriveTest, 320 Harry Walker Parkway South. The Newmarket road test guide covers what to expect on the day.
Why does the registry show a Toronto address?
Sprint Driving School's registered office is in Toronto. Your classroom hours are completed online, and your in-car lessons happen here in the Georgina area with Igor. You never need to travel to Toronto. Sprint certifies your completion to the Ministry once your hours are done.
What does Beginner Driver Education get me?
Completing BDE reduces your G1 waiting period from 12 months to 8, and qualifies you for insurance discounts with most Ontario insurers. The course is the full Ministry-approved one: online theory, home study and in-car instruction. More about BDE.
Are payment plans available?
Payment plans are available on both BDE packages. Call Igor to discuss what works for you. A receipt is provided for every payment.
How much do lessons cost?
Every price is listed in one place, on the Lessons & Packages page - single lessons, road test packages and both BDE packages. All prices shown include HST.
My son is a nervous driver. Is that a problem?
No - it's what Igor is best with. Fear behind the wheel usually has a specific cause, and it doesn't go away by being told to relax. Igor works out what's actually behind it, then builds confidence from there.
